TFP/Collaboration Terms
1) Before we start the shoot, you will need to sign a TFP model release. You can find an example of this release at (https://www.henrylmartinez.net/model-release).
2) Within one week after the test shoot, you will receive the photos to choose from for editing. These photos will be provided in low-resolution JPEG or as a PDF tear sheet, possibly with an HLM Studios watermark. Please remember that these images are only for selecting purposes and should not be shared without prior agreement.
3) You can select up to five photos for editing for each shoot.
4) Normally, edited high-resolution photos will be given to you within four weeks after the shoot unless there are special circumstances like travel or if paid work is prioritized. Additionally, during the first few weeks after the shoot, I may choose to edit and provide additional photos at my discretion.
5) The photos taken during the shoot can be used by the model and the photographer for non-commercial purposes only, such as for their portfolios or on social media. Any other use of the photos must be agreed upon by all parties involved.
6) The TFP/Test shoot photos cannot be uploaded on paywall sites like OnlyFans or Patreon. However, if the model decides to use the images on their commercial website, HLM Studios will charge a flat rate of $200 and an additional $20 fee per edited photo. For instance, if you had a 2-hour shoot with five edited images, it would cost a total of $300, regardless of the number of photos used on the pay site.
7) Chaperones are welcome during the shoot, but please let me know in advance. It is expected that chaperones remain at a discreet distance throughout the duration of the shoot.
8) Sometimes, I may ask the model to provide an ID before we start shooting. Please don't be offended if this request is made!
9) It is important for models and photographers to have a conversation before the shoot to discuss and agree upon any changes to the terms. These agreements should be put in writing to ensure clarity.
10) If the model requires a specific release form to be signed by the photographer, please make sure to request it before the day of the shoot.
11) If there is a need to cancel the shoot, please do so by 7 AM on the day of the shoot or earlier. Let's maintain professionalism and respect each other's time.
12) Normally, photographers do not cover expenses for TFP/Test shoots. The purpose of the note and release mentioned above is to ensure the protection of both the model and the photographer. However, I am open to discussing variations that can accommodate individual needs, such as a combination of partial payment and TFP, before the shoot takes place.
